Visit with us the Sources of Ermicciolo in Vivo d’Orcia. Enter the heart of the ancient volcano Mount Amiata where for thousands of years a drinkable water with excellent organoleptic qualities has flowed, serving the Province of Siena and beyond. A gallery of only 80 meters at the level of a splendid forest of beech and chestnut trees, a place with easy access for an activity suitable for adults and children.
Just 500 meters from the free parking, the aqueduct intake building that houses the springs is located right under the historic area with the ancient Church of Ermicciolo and the chestnut drying rooms, old cells of the Camaldolese monks who lived in this area.
With our guides, you can book a simple tour of the springs only in the morning, or a 1-hour guided tour of the entire circuit. Romualdo the last guardian will cheer up the moment with poems and anecdotes, provided that his venerable age will allow him to visit on that day💪🏻

Parco Vivo is located a few kilometers from the village of Vivo d’Orcia. You can reach the area along the paths starting from the village, or from the free parking lot right inside the woods in the same location. The Sources of Ermicciolo are a truly exclusive setting, as the contact with the water is direct and the visitor immediately enters the truest reality.
